MM3 is a hybrid analog-digital trio playing electronic music on live instruments. Their music moves between ambient passages, busy rhythms, and melodies that stick.
Founded in 2012 by Michał Milczarek, Mateusz Modrzejewski, and Bartek Łuczkiewicz, MM3 has developed an artistic language built around the tension between organic instruments and electronic sound. Their influences range from Aphex Twin and Frank Zappa to video game soundtracks and cinematic ambient music.
MM3 sounds like someone put a synth manual, a Nintendo cartridge, and a stack of prog records in a blender and forgot the lid.
Their debut, Squirrels & Butterflies (2014), won the NIMiT Phonographic Debut of the Year Award. Next came Ambient Works (2016), the live bootleg Live in China (2019), and the single underwater (2020). MM3 has played hundreds of shows in clubs and at festivals across Poland, Germany, the UK, Lithuania, Japan, Vietnam, and China.
MM3's live performances are immersive experiences - part concert, part experiment, part controlled collision of machines and musicians.
